GLADWIN COUNTY This year Meals on Wheels of America launched the #SaveLunch campaign before the annual March for Meals program. #SaveLunch focused on communicating the need to address senior hunger and continue funding at the state and federal level.

GLADWIN Sheryl Sacry is the new owner of Char Stone House, 500 West Cedar Ave., a new brick oven bistro and wine bar restaurant coming to Gladwin. Sheryl and her husband, Dan, moved from Arizona to Gladwin six years ago.

On Monday, April 29, Lambert’s Meat Market held their grand opening at 8 a.m. After the ribbon was cut, the store was officially open and customers flooded inside the store.

GLADWIN COUNTY Many thanks to the talented adult and student artists who entered artworks and to the public who viewed those entries at the Gladwin Area Artist Guild Open Spring Art Show held April 20 at the Beaverton Activity Center (BAC). Kudos to BAC volunteers who, as always, made everyone feel welcome to this art event held in the BAC gymnasium.
